Meet the team that contribute to the expert service we deliver.
Emma Rippon – Owner and Managing Director
Emma is a highly skilled Accredited Practising Dietitian and managing director of Eat Well Nutrition Service. She is responsible for Eat Well’s business operations, strategic direction and management of client relationships.
Emma’s dietetic career began in the public hospital system. She worked for a number of years combining hospital, aged care and private practice work as the sole dietitian at Eat Well Nutrition Service from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. As the business grew, Emma decided to expand and employee quality dietetic staff to support the needs of the Eat Well clients. She loves mentoring and supporting her staff to excel as dietitians. Along with her business role, Emma also works regularly with our aged care and private hospital clients. She enjoys being hands on as it helps to strengthen her clinical skills in the ever changing world of healthcare.
Emma is also the mother of two young children and in her spare time she enjoys family time and travelling with her husband and family.
Ami Dutton – Dietitian and General Manager
Ami joined the Eat Well Nutrition team in 2012 following her move to Melbourne. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who completed her dietetic training and commenced her career in the UK.
Ami’s extensive dietetic experience includes working for the National Health Service in the UK. During her career she has enjoyed a diverse workload including hospitals, family and community services and aged care. She also has keen interest in health promotion and enjoys coming up with creative ways to teach people about nutrition and health. She is a highly skilled, caring and dedicated health professional.
In her spare time Ami enjoys listening to live music, going to the theatre and cooking for her family and friends. In the future she is looking forward to discovering more of Australia.
Anna Muir – Dietitian
Anna is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash University in Melbourne. In her dietetic career, Anna has worked in a variety of settings including aged care, private practice and health promotion.
She joined the team at Eat Well Nutrition in 2015 and services our aged care facilities and private hospitals. Anna has a depth of knowledge regarding aged care nutrition and hydration management. She enjoys assisting people to improve their health through nutrition, keeping up to date with the latest nutrition research, and sharing this knowledge with our customers.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys visiting new cafes and restaurants, cooking, yoga, and spending time at the beach.
Rebekah Daniels – Dietitian
Rebekah is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and has completed the Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Dietetics. Since graduating Rebekah has worked in regional hospitals, community centres and aged care.
Rebekah provides services to many of our aged care facilities. She is passionate about assisting others to maximise their quality of life through better nutrition and actively seeks opportunities to keep up to date with the latest nutrition knowledge.
In her spare time she enjoys exploring the outdoors, gardening and listening to music.
Brenda Cook – Dietitian
After a 20-year career working in libraries, Brenda decided to follow her passion for food and completed a Masters in Gastronomy at the University of Adelaide. Soon after, she undertook a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University in South Australia. Since graduating she has worked in a range of roles within the aged care sector which include community, research, food service and clinical roles. She joined the Eat Well team in September 2017 and helps to service our aged care facilities.
It was Brenda’s love of food and cooking and the enjoyment it brings everyday, that led her to pursue a career change. Working with clients to make sustainable changes that improves nutrition and quality of life, without compromising on the enjoyment of eating is central to Brenda’s approach.
Brenda likes nothing better than to spend a day cooking. Other interests include eating out, reading, walking, travelling overseas and experiencing new cultures and cuisines.
Jackie Thomas – Dietitian
Jackie is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and a Master’s degree in Dietetic Practice from La Trobe University in Melbourne.
Jackie has a number of years of experience in aged care and first began working as a food service assistant in several nursing homes across the western suburbs during her studies at university. Since then, she has developed a strong passion in promoting overall health and wellbeing, and quality of life through food and nutrition in aged care. Jackie lived in Italy in her early twenties where she was able to develop her skills in the Italian language. She is able to consult in Italian to those of Italian background with limited English, and has found this to be a valuable tool in her career.
Outside of work, Jackie enjoys keeping active and exploring the great outdoors with her partner and dog. She also loves to cook for family and friends.
Randini De Mel – Dietitian
Randini is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at Monash University in Melbourne.
During her career, Randini has worked in Far North Queensland at a private hospital. She has had diverse experience in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in private practice and community settings, which included working with Indigenous Australians.
Randini recently joined the Eat Well Nutrition team and services our Private Hospitals and Aged care facilities in Melbourne. Randini enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for nutrition and health. She finds it very rewarding helping people reach their health goals. She also has a keen interest in teaching and presenting on various nutrition topics. Randini is a highly skilled, caring and enthusiastic health professional.
In her spare time, Randini enjoys cooking, going to the beach, travelling, visiting restaurants and family time, especially spending time with her niece and nephew.
Meagan O’Dea – Dietitian
Meagan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a Master of Dietetics at Curtin University in Perth.
In her dietetic career, Meagan has worked as a clinical dietitian in multiple areas, most recently geriatric rehabilitation.
Meagan recently joined the Eat Well Nutrition team and services our Aged care facilities in Perth. Meagan has a keen interest and passion for helping others reach their nutrition goals and improve their quality of life.
Time away from work includes baking and cooking for her loved ones, and spending time outdoors.
